Photographer Peter Southwick has spent over twenty years combining a passion for photojournalism with wedding, bar mitzvah, and special event photography in Massachusetts, Maine, and throughout New England. Peter believes all weddings, bar mitzvahs, or special events are different: unique experiences with their own story - your story. His commitment is to tell that story in photos that provide lasting memories and capture true feelings. His style is subtle and unobtrusive, never interfering with the natural flow of the event. He has brought the same vision to his photojournalistic work: documentary, public relations, and portrait photography that includes national award-winning photographs for The Associated Press and The Boston Globe.
"I never impose an agenda on my customers. My job is to tell the story of your occasion in a way that will make you happy, not to orchestrate the event. You have enough to think about at your wedding or bar mitzvah; your photographer should help reduce your anxiety, never add to it.
